Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Plus Ventures LLC ("we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the Plus family of applications: Learn+, Spark+, Bench+ and Money+ (each, an "App").

By downloading, installing or using any App, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, you must not use that App.

Sections 1 through 3 and Sections 8 through 16 apply to every App. Sections 4 through 7 apply only to the App they name. Where an App-specific section conflicts with a general one, the App-specific section governs for that App.

• Learn+, Bench+ and Money+ are intended for users aged 13 and over. Money+ additionally requires that you be old enough to hold the financial accounts you connect and to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use these Apps only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms.
• Spark+ is made for children, but this agreement is with the parent or guardian who installs it. By installing Spark+ you confirm you are an adult and that you accept these Terms on behalf of the child or children who will use it. See Section 5.

Learn+ and Money+ use a shared Plus account. Spark+ and Bench+ have no accounts and nothing in this section applies to them.

You may sign in with an email address and password, with Google, or with Apple. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering
• Keep your credentials confidential and not share them with others
• Keep your account information up to date
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

One Plus account can be used across Apps. Deleting your data in one App does not delete the Plus account or your data in another App; see Section 13.

Learn+ is an AI-powered learning platform that allows you to:

• Create personalized learning courses using artificial intelligence
• Access AI-generated educational content including text chapters and curated videos
• Browse and clone publicly available courses
• Take notes and track learning progress
• View recommended products and resources related to course topics
• Bookmark courses, videos and resources for later access

Learn+ uses a credit-based system for course creation:

• Creating AI-generated courses requires credits
• Credits can be purchased through in-app purchases
• All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the respective app store policies
• Credits do not expire and are non-transferable

Refund requests should be directed to the respective app store in accordance with their refund policies.

When you create courses or content using Learn+:

• You retain ownership of any original content you create
• You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display and distribute your content within the App, for the sole purpose of operating the service for you
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• Courses you choose to share publicly may be viewed and cloned by other users. This is a decision you make per course and it can be reversed for future viewers, but we cannot recall copies already made.

You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies or outdated information
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of AI-generated content
• Course topics and preferences you submit are sent to third-party AI providers to generate content

Learn+ uses YouTube API Services to provide educational video content within courses. By using Learn+, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

When using features that include YouTube content, you acknowledge that:

• YouTube videos displayed in the App are provided by YouTube and are subject to YouTube's terms and policies
• Google's Privacy Policy applies to your use of YouTube content
• You can manage your Google account and data at Google Security Settings
• We do not upload, modify or redistribute YouTube videos; we only display them through YouTube's official API and embedded player
• Video availability is determined by YouTube and content creators, and videos may become unavailable at any time

Learn+ may also include Amazon affiliate links in product recommendations. Purchases made through those links are subject to Amazon's own terms, and we may receive a commission on qualifying purchases. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site the App links to.

Spark+ is a curated home for children's screen time, offering hand-picked videos, read-along books, original learning games, and a parent-gated Picks shop. It has no account, no sign-in, and collects no information about its users. It is free and contains no in-app purchases and no advertising in the children's experience.

• Video content is hosted on YouTube and played through YouTube's embedded player. By using Spark+ you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Videos are selected by us, but they are published by third parties and we do not control them; a video may be changed or removed by its creator at any time.
• We curate content carefully and screen it before it appears in the App, but we cannot guarantee that every item will suit every child. You remain the judge of what is appropriate for your child, and we ask you to report anything that concerns you.
• Every route out of the App — including the Picks shop and any external link — sits behind a parental gate intended to confirm an adult is present. A parental gate is a reasonable safeguard, not a guarantee, and it does not replace supervision.

The Picks shop links to products on Amazon using affiliate links, and we may receive a commission on qualifying purchases. Any purchase is a transaction between you and Amazon under Amazon's own terms. We do not sell products, take payment, or handle fulfilment, returns or warranties for any product shown in Picks.

Drawings, coloured pages, saved game progress and photos used to make custom jigsaw puzzles stay on your device. They are yours, we never receive them, and they are removed when you delete the App. Because we hold no copy, we cannot recover them if the device is lost, reset or the App is deleted.

Bench+ is a collection of field measurement instruments and trade calculators that runs entirely on your device. It has no account and no servers of its own. Measurements, projects, photos and notes are stored locally.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Readings depend on your specific device's sensors, their condition and their calibration, all of which are outside our control
• Individual tools state their own limitations on screen, and those on-screen limitations form part of these Terms
• Tools that indicate the possible presence of something behind a surface — such as the fastener finder — are experimental and indicative only. They do not locate studs, pipes, live electrical cables or anything else, and must never be used to decide where it is safe to drill or cut.
• Calculators and estimators produce estimates from the figures you enter. Checking those figures, and the result, is your responsibility.
• You assume all risk arising from any decision you make on the basis of a Bench+ reading

• Bench+ Pro is a single one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and it does not expire.
• Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. The App verifies with the App Store or Play Store whether your store account owns the unlock.
• Your unlock is tied to the Apple or Google account that bought it, and is restored on a new device by signing in to that store account and using Restore Purchases.
• Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google under their refund policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases.
• We may add, change or retire individual tools over time. Pro remains unlocked for whatever the App then offers; no specific tool is guaranteed to remain available forever.

Everything Bench+ creates lives on your device and is never uploaded. We hold no copy, so we cannot recover your projects if your device is lost, reset, or the App is deleted. Your own device backup is the only backup. When you share a project, you hand it to your phone's share sheet and choose the destination; we are not a party to that and receive nothing.

Money+ is a personal finance app that records your financial data in a Google Sheets spreadsheet in your own Google Drive. It can connect to your financial institutions through Plaid to bring in transactions automatically, and it organises data into spaces you can share with people you invite.

Categorisations, summaries, budgets and projections are automated conveniences that may be wrong. Your financial institution's statements are authoritative — reconcile against them before relying on any number, and especially before filing anything with a tax authority.

Because your data lives in a file you own, some things are yours to manage:

• You grant Money+ access to the specific spreadsheet it creates or that you open through the App. You can revoke that access at any time from your Google account settings, which will stop the App from working until it is granted again.
• Your Sheet is the source of truth. If you edit, restructure, rename or delete rows, columns or tabs directly in Google Sheets, the App may misread or fail to write to it. Use the App's pause and resume workflow before editing the Sheet outside Money+.
• Do not let other software or scripts write to the same Sheet while Money+ is connected. Concurrent writers can corrupt data, and we cannot protect against writers we do not coordinate with.
• You are responsible for the Sheet's own Google Drive sharing settings. Anyone you give Drive access to can read your financial data regardless of anything set in Money+.
• You are responsible for keeping your own backups of the Sheet. Google Drive's version history is your recovery mechanism, not ours.
• Google Sheets and Google Drive are provided by Google under Google's own terms, and their availability and quotas are outside our control.

• Bank linking is provided by Plaid. You enter your banking credentials into Plaid's interface, not ours, and your use of that connection is also subject to Plaid's own terms and privacy policy.
• By linking an account you confirm you are the account holder or are authorised to access it, and you authorise us and Plaid to retrieve transaction data on your behalf.
• Institution connections break. Banks change their systems, require re-authentication, rate-limit requests or withdraw access with no notice. We do not guarantee that any institution will connect, stay connected, or deliver complete or timely data.
• You can disconnect any institution at any time from Settings. Data already written to your Sheet remains in your Sheet.

• Your device keeps an encrypted offline copy for viewing. It may be out of date, and your operating system may remove it to reclaim space. Editing requires a connection and can fail if Google Sheets is unavailable; the App will tell you rather than pretend the edit succeeded.
• The offline copy is erased when you sign out.
• If you share a space, the people you invite can see everything in it, and — with full rather than view-only access — can add, edit and delete entries. Sharing is your decision and you can withdraw it. You are responsible for who you invite.
• Push notifications are a convenience and delivery is not guaranteed; they may arrive late, more than once, or not at all. Do not rely on them as an alert mechanism for anything that matters.

Some Money+ features, including bank linking, may require a paid entitlement or may be limited to an invited cohort while we roll the App out. Where a feature is paid, its price and billing terms are shown before you buy, purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and refunds are handled by those stores under their policies. We may change which features are free or paid on a going-forward basis.

"Delete my Money+ data" in Settings disconnects your banks and removes our Money+ server records. It deliberately does not delete your Google Sheets, which stay in your Drive as your files, and does not delete your shared Plus account. See Section 13.

Across all Apps, you agree not to:

• Use an App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Create or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to an App, our systems, or another user's account or data
• Interfere with or disrupt an App's functionality, or circumvent any rate limit, entitlement check, parental gate or usage restriction
• Use automated means to access or scrape an App or our content without permission
• Share your account credentials with others, or access financial accounts you are not authorised to access
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, API keys or credentials from an App
• Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute an App or its content
• Violate any applicable law or regulation, or the terms of any third-party service an App relies on

The Apps, including their design, features, functionality, artwork and curated collections, are owned by Plus Ventures LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Apps for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. Bench+ may additionally be used in the course of your own trade or business.

You may not:

• Copy, modify or distribute an App or its content without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of an App
• Use the Learn+, Spark+, Bench+, Money+ or Plus trademarks or branding without authorization

Third-party content shown in the Apps — YouTube videos, book texts, product listings — remains the property of its owners.

THE APPS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
• WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT, MEASUREMENT, CALCULATION OR FINANCIAL FIGURE
• WARRANTIES THAT AN APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE
• WARRANTIES REGARDING ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE AN APP DEPENDS ON, INCLUDING GOOGLE, YOUTUBE, PLAID, APPLE AND AMAZON

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory right you have as a consumer.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLUS VENTURES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, an App
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
• Damages resulting from inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Damages resulting from reliance on any Bench+ measurement, reading or calculation, including property damage, injury, or failed inspection
• Damages resulting from reliance on any Money+ figure, categorisation or summary, including tax penalties, overdrafts, missed payments or investment losses
• Loss or corruption of data stored only on your device, or in a Google Sheet you control
• The failure, unavailability or change of any third-party service, including a bank or institution connection

Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in question in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) twenty-five US dollars (US$25). For Spark+ and any free App, you have paid us nothing, and our liability is limited accordingly to the fullest extent the law allows.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Plus Ventures LLC and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses or expenses arising from:

• Your use of an App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of the rights of another party
• Any content you create or share through an App
• Your decision to share a Money+ space or a Google Sheet with another person
• Any reliance placed on an App by you or by a third party to whom you passed its output

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, or where required to protect the service or other users. You may stop using any App at any time by deleting it.

Because the Apps differ, so does deletion:

• Learn+: Delete your account in App settings or by contacting us. Your account data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and any unused credits will be forfeited.
• Spark+ and Bench+: There is nothing to delete on our side. Deleting the App removes everything it created. We hold no copy and cannot restore it.
• Money+: "Delete my Money+ data" removes our Money+ server records and disconnects your banks. Your Google Sheets stay in your Drive.
• Your Plus account: Deleting data in one App does not delete the shared Plus account. To delete the account itself, use withplus.co/delete-account.html or contact us.

Upon termination your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 9 through 12, 14 and 15 survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of an App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may also change, suspend or discontinue any App or any feature of an App. Where a change would remove something you paid for, we will give reasonable notice.

15.1 App Store Terms

Where you obtained an App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's terms also apply, and these Terms are between you and us — not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Apps and have no obligation to provide support for them.

15.2 Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, it shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

15.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the privacy policy for the App you use (Learn+, Spark+, Bench+, Money+) and any on-screen limitations stated within an App, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Apps.
